As many will know, Hallam Land own some of the land surrounding Cotford St Luke and they also own part of the culverts and ditches that form part of our flood defences. They are responsible for maintaining these culverts and ditches, to ensure they function well and undertake to clear them twice a year – once in the Spring and once in the Autumn.
The Autumn clearing will take place on October 3rd and 4th – next Thursday and Friday. On the map included in this post (provided by Hallam), the areas in red are where they will be clearing.
