Cotford St Luke, a new village built largely around existing Victorian architecture, is placed in the lovely Somerset countryside, with many picturesque villages nearby. Six miles from Taunton it is perfectly placed for easy access to the County town and is crossed by public footpaths that lead via farming land to Heathfield, Norton Fitzwarren, and Bishops Lydeard.

Cotford St Luke is a new village, founded in the 1990's following the closure of the Tone Vale Hospital. However, many buildings within the village date back to the reign of Victoria, with some now converted into housing.
