West Somerset Railway

West Somerset railway (July)
The railway is still running a normal timetable albeit with limited steam locos being available and diesels substituting where steam power is unavailable. This has always been a condition of carriage on railways as long as I have been involved with them and that is some 45 years.

The Mill Located in the Vale of Taunton Deane, Bishops Lydeard is a small village near the market town of Taunton. There were originally two mills in the village, Higher and Lower, supplying the area with flour.

CELEBRATIONS FOR RESTORATION
St Mary's Flower Festival 
Bishops Lydeard
3-5 October 2008
Including Harvest Supper and Barn Dance in Bishops Lydeard Village Hall at 7 pm on Saturday 4 October with the Perfect Cure and David Dacey.
This will be the Perfect Cure's last performance before they retire, so be sure to come along and
enjoy the evening.
